About Green Clean Plus
When I first started, I set out on my own cleaning homes and building relationships based on trust and reliability. Soon, my business began to grow, and I hired my first employee to help me serve more clients. Over time, our client base doubled, and it was time to hire and train more people. Currently, we are at ten cleaners to serve the high demand for fully insured house cleaners and have become a trusted name in residential cleaning service in Almonte.
When I began cleaning houses, I didn’t really think of hiring staff until I got so many requests for my service. The demands from clients grew so much that I had to decide to either grow and hire help or not take on any new clients and stay small. I chose to grow and be available to help more people, which led to a whole new level for me.
Initially, I mostly cleaned homes in Almonte and Carleton Place. But, over the last seven years, we have expanded our house cleaning service to include Carp and Stittsville as well as Mississippi Mills, Arnprior, and Pakenham.
For the first five years, I operated my business from my home until the space was too small for our requirements. I decided to rent a small office space to meet our needs, but within a year we outgrew that as well. We now have a larger office with sufficient storage room for all the cleaning tools and solutions we use.
Our new office space is located in Almonte at 112 Queen St, right beside the LCBO, and you are welcome to drop in if you are in the area. Stacy is the office manager and would love to meet you. We are usually here from 8 am to 4 pm from Monday to Friday.
The Green Clean Plus Difference
Our primary goal is to help people looking to ‘get their evenings and weekends back.’ That way, they can have a better work-life balance and enjoy their free time doing the things they enjoy doing. To help clients take back their lives, we handle their household cleaning for them.
To ensure a smooth workflow in tandem with our growth, I hired Stacy a year ago to help me with the paperwork, scheduling, and other office duties. She has proved to be a blessing and has made my life a lot more organized. We have also had a new website built to make it easier for new clients to find us and to see our list of services.
To further improve my service quality, I continuously practice the Golden Rule and treat people the way I like to be treated, whether it is a client or my staff. Moreover, I emulate the quality of trustworthiness as I want my clients to feel that their home is in good hands when we take care of their cleaning needs.
Before working with new clients, I try to meet them and walk them through my process, so they are aware of our services and how we perform them. Besides, meeting clients face-to-face allows us to discuss their unique needs and how Green Clean Plus can help them overcome their challenges. In the event of issues or concerns, clients can easily reach me at any time over the phone, and I will make sure their problems are resolved immediately.
By making service quality our main priority, we have managed to build a client base that knows, likes, and trusts us enough to refer their family and friends. At the same time, being able to employ multiple people and seeing potential in my business to expand further brings me an immense sense of satisfaction.
To boost employee morale and show them that they are valued for their efforts, we are currently working on an ‘Employee Recognition Program.’
I am passionate about the service we provide, and I also care about protecting the environment. For this reason, from the very beginning, I decided to use and supply earth-friendly cleaning products. I keep abreast of new products and test some of the most promising ones myself to see if they will be beneficial to my clients.
